Boycott Arizona ! In any form, in every way...
For my international readers (more than half of you guys are not from the US), the state of Arizona has passed a state law that hugely over extends the powers of the police in enforcing immigration laws and providing them with stop and search powers for people they suspect to be in the country illegally...
There has been a wave of anti-Arizonian feeling across the country... I urge you all to follow through on this. In any way you can, effect Arizona in numerous and minor ways - it all adds up...
Scotttrade, a stock trading platform, has reported the closure of an inordinate number of accounts since the law took effect and account closure interviews reveal that users and customers have been voicing their protest of Arizona's new law !
This is weird because apart from a period of 6 months right at the beginning of the life of the company in 1980, the company has been headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri !!! BUT, if you come from Arizona, you feels the heat... Muy caliente !
